In the last 16 years of video production, I have learned to thrive under pressure. I began with the wedding industry, 35+ wedding films later taught me that there are no retakes. When I entered the corporate world, I learned that producing a professionally edited commercial was important, but without an audience to consume your content, it's almost a waste of time.
How do you build an audience? By utilizing video production to create content for the appropriate social media channels.
"Building a brand takes time..."
There are some clients that would rather focus on building their brand in the form of small, bite sized videos rather than bigger budget single projects (i.e. commercials). I call it “micro content” - it is targeted to the TikTok viewers, fast paced and to-the-point, not a lot of fluff and no wasted time.
The idea here is simple. Consistency over polish.
Think about it this way - what is the difference between a successful brand and one that has failed? One is active, alive and thriving, with digital presence and their footprint in the market vs the one that has not taken the time to engage with their audience.
We live in a world that is fast-paced and always changing. Our social media profiles reflect the weekly events of our lives - so our businesses should do the same. People want to know what's going on, and whether you are a barbershop or a marketing agency, it's important to keep your audience engaged.
We fell in love with this idea because it actually helps businesses grow, statistically more than a single commercial project could. In fact, we believe in it so much, we made it part of our slogan - STAY RELEVANT.
So I leave you with this question... How are YOU keeping your audience engaged?
